Milan, June 20-23. Tucano participates again this year as a sponsor in the fourth edition of the well-known Milanese film festival that in the number 2019 turns into Fuoricinema-Fuoriserie, enriching its schedule with new content to talk about, television series and their importance audio-narrative. Another novelty concerns the period and the location, no longer September but June and no longer external sites but the magical world of cinema Anteo, the temple of Milanese cinema, together with the Cloister of Santa Maria Incoronata and Via Milazzo, in the historic center, where personalities from the world of cinema and entertainment will dialogue with the public and journalists, around the magic word that offers the theme of this event, love. A term rich in meaning that can produce emotions and dreams, translated into stories and experiences of life but especially in reality. Tucano, as usual, participates with its products, selected with “love” for the 180 VIPs of the event, the Mister, a backpack for travel, sports and leisure, in bright colors and high-performance materials, and the bag in bag Mia, an organizer for luggage and bag, convenient on all occasions. The event, which began yesterday, will run until 23 June and will be led by Angela Finocchiaro, who will welcome the illustrious guests.

The consolidated partnership between Tucano and the young entrepreneurs of Confindustria, is renewed in 2019 through the creation of the official bag of the conference, the sleeve Minilux, a slim bag in nylon and bright colors, intended for all participants of the meeting.

This year’s sponsorship, in addition to once again signing the tried and tested and significant dialogue between our company and Confindustria Giovani, already active for many years, highlights our interest in the particularity and prestige of an event in which the business world is confronted with the political one and whose theme this year is the economy of connections.

But what does “Globali: Economia delle connessioni”, the title of the 49th Conference of Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria, to be held in Rapallo on 7 and 8 June, mean? It means reflecting on the potential of the “connection economy”, infinite, exponential and able to enhance our skills, our resources and our ideas, especially those concepts and visions that take value through contact and comparison.

Tucano confirms also this year its presence at the Venice Biennale, as supplier of official shoppers for the event, celebrating the eighteenth year of collaboration with the prestigious international exhibition.

The bag of the 58th edition, the usual expression of Tucano’s design and know-how, was made in grey-brown with the shoulder strap ribbon in contrasting colours. Tucano also produced a collection of shoppers, folding backpacks and pocket and bag accessories, in different colours and in materials more similar to the philosophy of the brand, nylon and neoprene, available in the bookshops of the exhibition.

The 58. The International Art Exhibition of Venice, whose title is May You Live In Interesting Times, is curated by Ralph Rugoff, a well-known critic and essayist, director of the Hayward Gallery in London.

May You Live In Interesting Times, besides being a title that gathers different meanings, is also an appeal for a deep reflection on the themes and difficulties of today, on environmental, political, ethical and existential problems. A unique message that invites us to take the time to reflect, to observe and consider the course of human events in their complexity, especially today, an era in which we tend to simplify.

The works on display will offer new forms of critical thinking as opposed to existing ideas, through new interpretations and new readings. The aim of this exhibition is to “see” through the eyes of the authors, savouring art through particular visions and emotions and overcoming conformism and superficiality. The Art Biennale includes 79 artists from all over the world whose task is to give back their own idea of the present, ranging from photography, painting, video installations and technologies.

Today, at MiCo, the events centre of Fiera di Milano, the tenth edition of Salone del Risparmio, one of the most important events dedicated to the managed savings sector. From 2 to 4 April, the theme of sustainability will be at the centre of the discussion, debates and working tables. Sustainable, responsible and inclusive savings will be discussed, in line with the new and important social and environmental policies of the recent years.
A video message from Minister Tria will open the Salon , ready to host 230 speakers, 150 brands and over fifteen thousand people.

This topic is also very important to Tucano, attending the 52nd Edition of the Bologna-based fair, scheduled from March 14–18, with a project that represents the company’s “green philosophy” and with a stand focused on the environment and innovative solutions, which are useful for keeping it in balance.

In an environment largely dedicated to green cosmetics, Tucano is presenting a new sustainable material, used to make two backpacks, which are additions to already well-known collections.
